3. Schönbrunn Palace
This magnificent Baroque palace was the summer residence of the Habsburgs. You can explore the stunning interiors, stroll through the vast park, or visit the world-class Schönbrunn Zoo (see details below).

4. The Imperial Palace (Hofburg)
The Hofburg was the political center of the Habsburg Empire for centuries. Today, it houses the office of the president and several museums that offer insights into imperial life.
5. Kunsthistorisches Museum
My favorite museum in Vienna, even for those who aren't art enthusiasts! It’s a treasure trove of incredible art, housed in a stunningly beautiful building. Be sure to visit the charming museum café for a relaxing break.
6. Upper Belvedere Museum
This stunning palace complex is surrounded by a beautiful park. The Upper Belvedere houses Gustav Klimt’s masterpiece The Kiss and other remarkable artworks.
7. Museumsquartier
The MuseumsQuartier (MQ) is one of Vienna’s cultural hotspots, blending historic and modern architecture. Home to renowned museums like the Leopold Museum and mumok (both included in the Vienna Pass), it also offers cafés, shops, and open spaces, making it a lively hub for art, culture, and relaxation.
8. State Opera
One of the world’s best opera houses, offering opera and ballet performances almost every evening. In addition to the shows, you can also take a guided tour of the opera house, which is included in the Vienna Pass. A must for music lovers.
9. Giant Ferris Wheel in the Prater
An amusement park with free entry, offering fun rides and activities for all ages. Don’t miss the historic Giant Ferris Wheel (included in the Vienna Pass) for a fantastic view of the city.
10. Naschmarkt
Vienna boasts a rich food market culture, with nearly every district hosting its own market. The largest and most renowned is Naschmarkt, which offers a vibrant array of international and local specialties.
11. Austrian National Library - Bonus Tip :)
Often ranked among the world’s most beautiful libraries, the State Hall is a masterpiece with frescoes, marble columns, and exquisite paintings. A true feast for the eyes.

1. Stephansdom
Der Stephansdom ist DAS Wahrzeichen Wiens. Ein Teil der Kirche kann kostenlos besichtigt werden, aber für spannende Extras wie die Katakomben oder Türme brauchst du ein Ticket.
2. Historisches Stadtzentrum
Spaziere durch Wiens historische Altstadt, ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, und bestaune Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den Stephansdom, die Hofburg und vieles mehr.

3. Schloss Schönbrunn
Dieses prächtige Barockschloss diente den Habsburgern als Sommerresidenz. Du kannst die beeindruckenden Prunkräume erkunden, durch den weitläufigen Park spazieren oder den weltberühmten Tiergarten Schönbrunn besuchen. Planst du einen Besuch in Schönbrunn? 4. Hofburg
Die Hofburg war über Jahrhunderte das politische Zentrum des Habsburgerreichs. Heute beherbergt sie das Büro des Bundespräsidenten sowie mehrere Museen, die Einblicke in das kaiserliche Leben geben.
5. Kunsthistorisches Museum
Mein Lieblingsmuseum in Wien – auch für Nicht-Kunstliebhaber! Schon das Gebäude ist ein wahres Kunstwerk, und das Museumscafé lädt zu einer Pause ein. Ach ja, und natürlich gibt’s auch Meisterwerke von Rubens, Raffael, Rembrandt und vielen anderen berühmten Malern!
6. Oberes Belvedere
Dieser beeindruckende Palastkomplex ist von einem wunderschönen Park umgeben. Im Oberen Belvedere befindet sich Gustav Klimts Meisterwerk „Der Kuss“ sowie viele andere bemerkenswerte Kunstwerke.
7. Museumsquartier
Das MuseumsQuartier (MQ) ist einer der kulturellen Hotspots Wiens, wo sich historische und moderne Architektur vereinen. Es beherbergt renommierte Museen wie das Leopold Museum und mumok (beide im Vienna Pass enthalten) und bietet außerdem Cafés, Shops und ist ein beliebter Treffpunkt.
8. Staatsoper
Eines der besten Opernhäuser der Welt, das fast jeden Abend Opern- und Ballettaufführungen bietet. Neben den Aufführungen kannst du auch eine Führung durch das Opernhaus machen. -Die Führungen sind ebenfalls im Vienna Pass enthalten. Ein Muss für Musikliebhaber.
9. Riesenrad im Prater
Der Prater ist ein Vergnügungspark mit freiem Eintritt. Hier gibt es Fahrgeschäfte, Schießbuden und viele weitere Attraktionen für alle Altersgruppen. Ein absolutes Muss ist das Riesenrad (im Vienna Pass enthalten), das zweite Wahrzeichen der Stadt! Von dort hast du einen fantastischen Blick auf Wien.
10. Naschmarkt
Fast jeder Bezirk in Wien hat seinen eigenen Markt mit einzigartigem Charme. Der größte und bekannteste ist der Naschmarkt, wo du Spezialitäten aus Österreich und der ganzen Welt entdecken kannst!
11. Nationalbibliothek Prunksaal - Bonus Tipp:)
Die Staatsbibliothek wird oft zu den schönsten Bibliotheken der Welt gezählt. Mit ihren Fresken, Marmorsäulen und prächtigen Gemälden ist sie ein wahres Meisterwerk – ein Fest für die Augen.
